During the course of the next two weeks, it is my strong suspicion that we will be getting a great many first-time visitors to Movie ‘Tudes. That’s why I’d like to take just a minute to reintroduce this crazy little blog of ours. (Bare with me regular readers, more movie reviews and interviews are on their way.)

At Movie ‘Tudes we specialize in reviewing a lot of movies most reviewers don’t pay any attention to. We love to cover Asian movies, anime, B-movie horror, sci-fi, cult cinema, foreign and independent films. We also hit mainstream releases and documentaries, too. What’s more, we try to pack those reviews with as much personality, philosophy and attitude as possible.

Lately, we’ve started interviewing stars such as Tara Reid, Rona Barrett, Bobbi Sue Luther and director Adam Rifkin (Mousehunt, Small Soldiers & Look). Next week, Lang will be interviewing Yoko Hayama, the producer of the Tokyo Shock films “The Machine Girl” and “Tokyo Gore Police.” We’re very excited to hear what Yoko has to say about her creative and blood-spattered work.
